We´re excited to present the 14th Annual Harbins Park 7.10/3.55 Mile Trail Race at Harbins Park. 

Runners registration for the 2023 Dirty Spokes Harbins Park 7.10/3.55 Trail Running Race is OPEN! We will have a cap on this race of 275 Participants! We are placing a cap on this event for 2 reasons... 1 parking availability, 2 getting that amount of runners into the woods (this race has reached capacity each year... if you are interested in participating please register soon)!

For our 2023 events we will be using a Super Soft, Tri Blend Shirt! In doing so we must adhere to the "no guarantee of a shirt with late or race day registration". We will still offer "Men's" and "Women's" Sizes (Shirts Fit Just Like the Current Ones we Use)! So Register Early and let us know what you think!

PACKET PICKUP

Packet pickup will be the morning of the race starting at 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Race starts at 8:00 a.m. SHARP!

RACE COURSE

7.10 Mile Course GPS unit measures course at 6.35 miles; Calibrated Bicycle Computer "wheel" measures course at 7.10 miles. Please note GPS Units do not capture every twist and turn in the woods as bicycle wheel does roll every twist and turn. Race will start on the asphalt path (behind the parking lot) then lead into the woods. The trail running surface is very easy to navigate... the entire course is double track about 5-7 feet wide. At .40 Miles Turn Left. At Mile 2.0 Turn Left. At 2.05 Miles Turn Left. At 2.35 Miles Turn Left. At 2.37 Miles Stay Straight and to the Left. At. 2.40 Miles the Courses Split (the 7.15 Mile and 3.5 Mile Courses will stay together until 2.40 Miles... at 2.40 Miles the Long Course will stay Straight / Veer Right and the 3.5 Mile Course will Turn Hard Left). At Mile 3.45 Turn Hard Left (Up some Stairs and Crossing a Long Bridge). At Mile 3.60 stay Right. At Mile 3.65 stay Right. At Mile 6.25 stay Straight Through and Intersection. At Mile 6.60 Turn Hard Right Onto the Asphalt (Long and Short Courses Merge Back Together at this Point). Go Up a Short Hill (Asphalt) and Turn Right. At 7.05 Miles Turn Left Up Hill Back to the Start / Finish Area (race will be run in a "counter clockwise direction"). This course and venue is one of our favorites!

RACE CATEGORIES

Dirty Spokes will be handing out medals and prizes to our overall top 3 male and female finishers for each race. We will also be handing out medals to our top 3 male and female finishers in each age group (14&U, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75&U) – you must be present to receive your medal we will not mail them to you.

AWARDS

Awards will be given out when we have enough finishers in to fill the categories. Medals will be given out to the top three finishers in each category. Walkers are encouraged to participate; however, you should be able to complete the 7.10/3.55 miles at a 16 minute mile pace or under to receive an official time.
